In the afternoon of March 6, 2018, at the Headquarter of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Chile to Viet Nam Claudio Andres de Negri Quintana has come and said farewell to  Minister Nguyen Ngoc Thien at the end of his tenure in Viet Nam. Mr. Gonzala Guaiquil, Second Secretary accompanied the Ambassador.  

Mr. Claudio Andres de Negri Quintana expressed his gratitude to Minister Nguyen Ngoc Thien for spending time to meet him. The Ambassador highly appreciates the cooperation between Viet Nam and Mozambique in the sector of culture, sports and tourism. Recently, in September, 2017, the Embassy of the Republic of Chile has finished and inaugurated the ceramic picture of Chile on the Ceramic Road along Red River dyke.

Minister Nguyen Ngoc Thien also highly values the contribution of the Ambassador to the development of Viet Nam - Chile relationship. The Minister hopes that in the coming period of time, the 2 countries will promote the cooperation relationship especially in tourism sector and he strongly believe that even after his tenure in Viet Nam, the Ambassador will continuously contribute to the friendly relationship between 2 countries.
