Visiting the Vietnam Exhibition Hall, ASEAN Secretary General Dato Lim Jock Hoi congratulated Vietnam on its outstanding achievements in socio-economic and foreign affairs in recent years, especially the fact that Vietnam has ensured successfully assumed the position of ASEAN Chair 2020 and a non-permanent member of the United Nations Security Council for the 2020-2021 term, affirming Vietnam’s active, effective and responsible role, contribution and responsibility to the mechanism. cooperation in ASEAN in particular and the international community in general.<\/p>\n

The Secretary-General enjoyed and appreciated the unique traditional music performance program presented by the artists of the Vietnam National Academy of Music (Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism), and dedicated time to visit, learn about culture, country, people, special agricultural products (coffee, rice ST 25…), achievements in science, technology and technology (weekly economic model) complete, Nano Dragon satellite, digital transformation\u2026) are displayed and introduced at the Vietnam Exhibition House.<\/p>\n
On this occasion, the representative of the Vietnam Exhibition House reported to the Secretary-General on the activities of cooperation, exchange and cultural exchange with ASEAN countries that Vietnam has implemented in the past time in the framework of the exhibition. Activities organized by ASEAN countries in particular, thereby contributing to enhancing the efficiency and quality of propaganda, promotion and introduction of the image of the country, people and culture of ASEAN countries.<\/p>\n
Mr. Dato Lim Jock Hoi – ASEAN Secretary-General highly appreciated Vietnam’s positivity and initiative at EXPO 2020 Dubai in particular and within the framework of ASEAN cooperation at EXPO in general, especially its effective and quality contributions. of Vietnam to contribute to expressing the spirit and identity of ASEAN, solidarity and friendship of ASEAN countries, making an important contribution to enhancing the prestige and image of ASEAN at the World Expo 2020 Dubai – a among the largest events in the world and for the first time in history attracted the participation of 192 countries around the world, despite the unprecedented difficulties caused by the Covid 19 pandemic.<\/p>\n
In the near future, General Secretary Dato Lim Jock Hoi suggested that Vietnam Exhibitors continue to coordinate with ASEAN Exhibitors and ASEAN countries to continue to carry out propaganda, promotion and introduction activities.
