On January 11-12, 2022, the Asia-Pacific Regional Consultative Conference on Culture was hosted by the Indonesian Ministry of Education, Culture, Research and Technology in collaboration with UNESCO in the form of: online mode. The conference was organized to provide information for the UNESCO World Conference on Cultural Policy (Mondiacult 2022) which will take place in Mexico on 30 September 2022.
The conference was attended by representatives of leaders of national cultural agencies in the Asia-Pacific region, intergovernmental and non-governmental organizations in the region, representatives of academies and organizations. sub-regional and regional socio-professional organizations. The conference was organized to capture national and regional trends, gaps and challenges in cultural policies, and identify important priorities related to cultural policy in the years to come.
