The Minister of Infrastructure of Sweden chooses Vietnam Exhibition House as the first destination at EXPO 2020 Dubai

On the afternoon of January 11, the Minister of Infrastructure of Sweden, Mr. Tomas Eneroth had a program to visit the Vietnam Exhibition House at EXPO 2020 Dubai.

Minister Eneroth, although he has never been to Vietnam, has a special affection for the S-shaped land. He said that the Vietnam Exhibition House is the first place he wants to visit at this EXPO 2020.

During more than 40 minutes of visiting the Vietnam Exhibition Hall, Minister Tomas Eneroth and the Swedish delegation were introduced to the achievements and cooperation opportunities in the socio-economic fields, as well as the special features. about Vietnamese culture. He was especially impressed with Vietnam’s innovative sustainable products that have been featured on CNN such as shoes made from coffee grounds and the circular economy model in coffee production.

Sweden was the first Western country to recognize and establish diplomatic relations with Vietnam in 1969. Thanks to a long history of friendly cooperation, bilateral relations between the two countries have made good progress in many fields. areas, including culture, sport and tourism as well as infrastructure.

Vietnam always remembers the support and assistance of the Government and people of Sweden in the construction and development of the country with symbolic works during the period of national reconstruction and implementation of the transformation process. New products of Vietnam such as Trung Children’s Hospital, Bai Bang Paper Factory…

At Expo 2020, Swedish friends and organizations are always interested in the new developments of Vietnam, most recently there is the Hack for Earth Foundation with a contest of innovative projects for a sustainable world. , also gave special priority to visit and send greetings from the Vietnam Exhibition House to the international contestants of the competition.
